TS030 Toyota Hybrid “Race Car” endurance prototype

TS030 Toyota Hybrid. Toyota TS030 is a hybrid racecar, TS030 as the successor the past model TS010 and TS020 (GT-One) which competed at Le Mans podium in the 1990s. Driving the Toyota TS030’s will be Nicolas Lapierre, Kazuki Nakajima, Alex Wurz. Toyota TS030 has just completed a 3 day rollout test drive laps and that included running at night/darkness.
TS030’s used engine is a 90-deg V8 with a 3,4 litres capacity (this’s the max allowed for naturally aspirated petrol engines under Le Mans rules).
TS030’s team will make its first debut on May 5, at the 2nd round of the FIA World Endurance Championship: the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. We can’t wait!
